St. Andrews/Waite Phillips Partners for Children

St. Andrews is entering into its third year of partnership with Waite Phillips Elementary school. This partnership offers the following service opportunities:

Things you can do:

Be a MENTOR

Have lunch with one special child as often as you can. Stay afterwards and help out in whatever way is needed … be a reading listener, a math fact quizzer, or simply a caring presence.

Be a CLASSROOM VOLUNTEER

Help out with whatever the classroom teacher might need … filing, grading, tutoring, or making displays are but a few of the possibilities.

Be an AIDE

Help shelve books in the library. You don’t have to have to work directly with the children to help them.

Help with Teacher Appreciation

Help the Phillips teachers know they are valued in various ways for one week in May, 2006.

What you can give:
Boxes of 16-count crayons	Standard rule spiral notebooks
#2 pencils	8 oz. Bottles of Elmer's glue
8-count Crayola markers	Standard rule loose leaf notebook paper

A collection box for supplies will be kept outside Fellowship Hall.
