We lift up this week in our presbytery the Kulli Chito Church in Bethel and First Church in Muskogee along with Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Caribbean Islands, and Costa Rica.

ATTENTION COOKS:  The annual Mariners’ Chili Competition fund raiser event will be held NEXT SUNDAY, February 25.  Cooks, whip up your best concoctions and bring to church.  Congregation, bring your appetites and be ready to enjoy a hearty lunch (chili/cornbread/dessert) and don’t forget to vote with cash for your favorites.  Mariners, see Diana after church today to Sign Up for bringing side dishes.

The Presbyterian Women meets Thursday, March 1, for a noon potluck.  Lee Ann Taylor from Channel 6 will be our guest speaker, giving her Christian testimony of when she went through her cancer experience.  It should be very inspiring.  Everyone is welcome.

An Invitation from Southminster: We have been invited by Southminster Presbyterian Church (3500 S Peoria) to join them in their Wednesday evening programming through Lent. Information (including program topics, menus and who to contact to make dinner reservations) is available in the brochures at the guest register in the narthex.
