Report of Exploratory Committee Retreat on March 31, 2007

Update: St. Andrews has accepted the offer to sell their property. Details and timeline to be worked out. Spirit high, confident that we can seize the chance of a lifetime to create a new vision and do ministry in support of that vision.

What did we do/how far did we go?

working on a common vision

identified each congregation’s strengths, goals, values

shared questions (baggage)

bullet

each group brought questions from "people in the pews"

 

NEXT STEPS:

  1. clarify and write vision

  2. then plan structure

  3. in the meantime, engage in some joint worship, programs, and activities together

  4. Exploratory Committee will meet again on April 15 at 1 p.m. at Southminster
